Julia Starke
Julia Starke received her Master of Science in mechatronics with a focus on robotics and sensor technology from the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover in 2016. In 2022 she finished her PhD in the area of computer science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology on the topic of synergy-based grasp representations and semi-autonomous control for prosthetic hans.
Currently, she is employed as a research scientist and Ph.D. student at the High Performance Humanoid Technologies Lab of the Institute for Anthropomatics and Robotics. Her major research interests are the study of grasping as a process and the analysis and application of human grasp strategies on humanoid hands in prosthetics and robotics.
