Electronic Design for Humanoid Robots & Exoskeletons

Job Description

At H²T, we develop human-centered robotic systems in the form of humanoid robots, exoskeletons and prostheses, including hardware specially tailored to the respective systems. Electronics play an important role here in order to record sensor data and control actuators. Embedded processors are also used, which can evaluate sensor data in real time and also communicate with other components of the robot. We are therefore looking for students interested in hardware to support us in the development of electronics and hardware in the field of humanoid robots and exoskeletons.

Possible tasks are
- Design and construction of electronic circuits
- Layout of circuit boards
- Testing and debugging of circuits and systems
- Embedded programming (STM32)

Preferred skills include
- Motivation for the subject matter
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of the layout of circuit boards (ideally with Altium Designer)
- Knowledge of designing and building electronic circuits and programming microcontrollers
- Basic knowledge of robotics is advantageous, but not essential

Please enclose your CV and transcript of records with your application (e-mail to Felix Hundhausen & Charlotte Marquardt)
