Job description

At H²T, we develop human-centered robotic systems in the form of humanoid robots, exoskeletons and prostheses, including hardware specially tailored to the respective systems. The mechatronic structure lays the foundation for the entire humanoid robot system. The aim is to reproduce the movements of humans as closely as possible with mechatronic systems, and an important part of the work consists of developing new and maintaining existing humanoid robots. We are looking for students interested in design and mechanics to support the development and maintenance of humanoid robots.

Possible tasks are
- Maintenance and optimization of existing robots
- Preparation of components for production
- CAD design of joint mechanisms and actuators
- Production and assembly of demonstrators and prototypes
- Design, development and assembly of humanoid robots

Preferred skills include
- Motivation for the subject matter
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of production-oriented design (ideally in the CAD program PTC Creo)
- Initial knowledge of FEM simulation and technical drawing creation is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of robotics is advantageous, but not essential

Please enclose your CV and transcript of records with your application (e-mail to Daniel Ruffler).
